Commentary
This text belongs to a group of sources documenting the supply of „sesame“ (ĝeš-i3) by a person named Guzana [individual=Guzana](Steinkeller; Steinkeller 1982: 640-644; Waetzoldt 1985: fn. 37). In particular, he procured sesame seeds from Karaḫar [geogr=Karaḫar] in the upper reaches of the Diyala, mainly during the reigns of Šu-Suen and Ibbi-Suen (see Dossier A.1.1.1).
